A Message from our Founder

What does IDRI do? Our only purpose is to find new vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics for neglected diseases of global impact. Too many people are still suffering from diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, and leprosy, which should be preventable.

My vision for IDRI is to combine the quality science of a research organization with the development and production capabilities of a biotech to create a unique organization with a humanitarian focus. As a non-profit biotech IDRI has the flexibility to collaborate with a diverse group of researchers and institutions that include traditional biotech and pharmaceutical companies, universities, government organizations, and NGOs.
