Paul Sleath, PhD

Paul Sleath is a consultant at IDRI, responsible for GMP manufacturing. He has worked for 19 years in Seattle biotechnology companies and has participated in the development of vaccines and cancer therapeutics. Dr. Sleath has over 35 peer-reviewed papers and 10 patents.
Dr. Sleath was born in Derby, England and attended the University of York, where he obtained a BA in Chemistry and a DPhil in Physical Organic Chemistry. He moved to the United States to pursue post-doctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco, in the pharmaceutical chemistry department. Dr. Sleath joined the protein chemistry department at Immunex Corporation in Seattle, WA in 1988 and then moved to Corixa Corporation in 1994, where he was involved in the development of vaccines and adjuvants to treat infectious diseases and cancer. Dr. Sleath joined Dharma Therapeutics in 2006 and is currently Vice President of Manufacturing.
