Allen Casey

Group Leader, High Throughput Screening/Robotics

Allen Casey has 15+ years of experience in small-molecule drug discovery in the biotech industry (Plexera, ICOS, MDS Pharma Services, Panlabs, Western Medical Center and Northwest Hospital). Formerly a technical scientist and manager at ICOS Corporation, he has been involved with high throughput screening (HTS), robotics, bioinformatics, microbiology, cell culture process development and clinical manufacturing. Allen has been creatively involved in engineering many of the instruments and software components used for drug discovery.

Allen joined IDRI in 2008 to manage high throughput screening. He is directing the automation of biochemical as well as cell based assays. Allen received his bachelor's degree in Natural Science/Biology from the University of Washington.
