Karen Kinch
Vice President, Administration
Karen Kinch is the Vice President of Administration at IDRI.
Karen entered the scientific research community in 1988
when she worked at the Seattle Biomedical Research
Institute as Office and Personnel Manager. She left in 1993
to join Steve Reed at IDRI as Administrator, and
then moved to Corixa Corporation in 1994 where she acted
as Manager of Grants Administration until 2005. Karen has
done contract administrative work and grants management
for IDRI on a part-time basis since 1994.
Karen graduated summa cum laude from Washington State
University with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Business
Administration.
